I first knew the Lord was calling me to live in a foreign land back in 1978 when I read the following verses:
Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
When I first came to Mexico, I found a lot of "Lone Ranger" missionaries. Heck, I was one of them myself. As I grew though I realized that it was up to me not to be a "Lone Ranger" but to work with other brothers and sisters to do all that we could to fulfill the "great commission" of Jesus Christ. So now, instead of boring you more with long stories, let me introduce you to some of the laborers that the Lord has with us at the time:
